Family Medicine Associates, P.C. has been offering quality healthcare to the residents of Suffolk and surrounding areas since 1982. FMA currently has five physicians, two nurse practitioners, and two physician assistants on staff. We provide a number of services including lab and xray.

Family Medicine is the Medical Specialty that provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity.*

Our first responsibility is to our patients and their families. We realize life is precious and should be treated with respect. We will remain caring and compassionate with each patient, and will attend to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient without compromising his or her autonomy to make individual health care decisions. We understand how essential privacy is in medicine, and will hold the patient's history in strict confidence.

Our Physicians admit to Sentara Obici Hospital and the following Nursing Homes: Nansemond Point, Autumn Care and Lake Prince Woods.
